Uverse packaging question

I'm not too familiar with Uverse as i have Directv but the s/o has uverse. However, she doesnt get mlb network or bein and i would like to add it. I really cant do without mlb network during baseball season.
I believe her package is the u200 right now. Does uverse allow you to cherry pick channels you can add (i know the answer to this already but figured it was worth a shot) or do i need to upgrade her whole package.
Can anyone tell me what package would cover these additional two channels. Thanks.

check to see if there is a deal on the sports package right now. I usually get it for 3 months at a time for free. It is almost always free for at least a month.

But would both be in the sports package. I ask because I have the DTV sports package and bein isn't part of it.

She might need u300 to get MLB then Bein would be in the Sports package which is an extra $10/month if there isn't a deal on it.

Ok. The rep told me I needed u450. While that would do it I was curious if there were cheaper alternatives.

yeah, u450 includes the sports package and HBO I think. not sure what the price difference would be going u450 vs. u300+sports.

ill do another chat and find out.
going from u200 to u450 was an additional $16 plus they offered 6 months free upgrade.
which really isnt too bad. but now that i understand how the tier system + sport package works a little better im going to get a quote on u300 plus sports versus u450.
Appreciate the info.

It may be cheaper to stream it from mlb.com through a Roku or similar device. It's a subscription service.

the convenience of not having to change inputs, turn on another device, and find an app with a shitty remote made for those devices is worth the extra few bucks a month to have it on my cable package.

These are moot points with a Roku.

I have a roku and MLB at bat. That won't help me watch MLB tonight
