not sure what law it is but surely that has to be some sort of reckless endangerment . there were cars coming in the opposite direction and if the skier lost control could have gone in their lane and caused them to swerve and possibly cause injury. seems unsafe. sorry to offend all of the fun loving daredevils

Cops looked like they wanted to shoot him... but realized they were being recorded... brought him behind a buildling (off camera) and then shot him...

That's stupid, what were they hurting and who was being put in harms way? Anytime someone tries to have some fun and make the most of a situation, the cops are always there to break it up. So what if someone falls and gets a scrape or stitches.
On top of that, the dumb arse cop feels the need to come walking around the back of the SUV with his hand on his gun. Any any point did you get the feeling that this cops life may be in danger?

Hahaha. You know I'm from the south because until I watched the video, I was picturing a truck driving through a flooded street and a guy water skiing behind the truck!
Snow skiing? What's the big deal? Don't people up north do that all the time? I would if I lived where there was snow. What else is there to do during winter?

We used to do something like that when I was in high school. Didn't use skies but did use sleds and a tow rope tied off on the bumper.
Fun as hell.
