It's okay pal, we know what you're really asking. And the answer is: rub a little Vaseline on your stroke hand, and stroke firmly but gently. Dick blisters suck.

Buy Cole Haan, Allen Edmunds, or Johnston & Murphy and never have that problem in the first place?

Also buy from a department store or the shoe brand's stand alone store or website. Discount stores have the shitty versions of the brand name shoes.

They are Johnston and Murphy

Bought from Dillards IIRC.

J&M and Cole Haan are cheap, glued together crap. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get a shoe that will last decades while not hurting your feet. You're not a woman, so there's absolutely no reason to wear a shoe that hurts you.

As already suggested, Allen Edmonds are your best bet budget wise and can be had for under $300 during sales.

You can spend $100 3 times over the next few years as you buy cheap shoes that hurt, or $300 once for a pair of oxfords you can wear long after you're done with medical school. I still have the same shoes I had in law school and they look new 8 years later. Whatever you buy, get a cheap pair of shoe trees ($25-30) and put them in whenever the shoes aren't on your feet.

If you insist on trying to wear what you have now, just buy the heaviest socks you can find.

$300 for shoes? Any man that spends more than $150 for shoes or $50 for a pair of jeans is a little light in the loafers, if you know what I mean.

Haha. You're poor and lack style.

I may lack style but I'm not poor. I live very comfortably and would jump off a bridge before spending that much on clothes. But I'm also married with 4 kids and have no reason to wear "look at me" clothes.

Surprised no one has mentioned moleskin for the back of the shoe.

Yeah man, Allen Edmonds is huge in the gay community. They just love that 50 year old GOP voter look.

That's just dumb. It's because whatever you do to pay for those 4 kids, doesn't require you to look like a professional. $300 for shoes that last 15 yrs or $150 for shoes that last one year? Somebody failed at math. If you only dress decent for weddings and funerals, by all means buy cheap shite.

Also, I say it all the time, but if you people who are interested in AE aren't shopping the AE shoe mart, which is now online (you used to have to call and ask for an inventory list in your size), you're missing out.
