The whole "investigation" has been such a joke that the NFL should probably just outright scrap the rule with exact ranges and replace it with a catch-all "ball shall be reasonably inflated" type one.

The NFL has so many rules, most of them pointless or close to it that even they can't keep track of them.

That's basically how I saw the rule anyways, which is another reason I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Some qb's like the ball a little softer, some like more air in it.

Did they really need that?

This is the least amount of coverage I've followed for the super bowl, mostly because of the ball crap.

But I guess you are right, based on the amount of people that I talked to that don't normally care about football but they had an opinion on this.

it is a boring matchup, namely b/c the NFL has neutered shite talking from sherman

the only conflicts are marshawn lynch not talking to the media and deflate-gate

That must have happened recently because he was still putting Goodell and Kraft on blast as of Media Day.
