Do they have a higher salary cap? High paid contracts on D. About to have to pay Wilson a ton. Oline can't be cheap. Now you are going to pay an older RB 10 million. Sacrifice has to come from more than the WR position

I would let him go. They got their best years out of him. He won't be worth $10 million a year.

Well based on the past couple of years, they know what the frick they're doing.

It's a very young team overall still and I'd guess everyone will be returning besides Maxwell. Why would a drop-off happen when the majority of the stars will be entering their prime?

They have like 5 players they should shell it out for no matter what -- Sherman, Thomas, Mebane, Bennett and Lynch.
I'm about the biggest Lynch fan as it gets for a non-seahawks fan, but Wilson is more necessary to keep than Lynch.

Maybe only because Wilson's got more left in the tank. That team is built on running and defense. If they got rid of Lynch, they would need an equivalent replacement.

Wilson is a smart and versatile QB, which are hard to find. But he's not going to win the game on his own, especially not with the lunch pail receivers they have. Defense and running game is far more important to this team than the QB or the WRs.
