,yeah i guess. it's the superbowl though, unless there's a team in it i like i really don't give a shite

but on the same token, it's the super bowl, and you shouldn't care enough to require a pause

We are huge saints fans and were watching xliv in a place with an awesome setup right by bourbon with all of our friends and food and booze taken care of.
As the start spangled banner is playing, my buddy's awful girl that he was seeing throws up right at the table like a child. This dude had not missed a Saints game in his life and has had season tix with me forever...had to hop in a cab with her to her house in Metairie and watch the game alone in her living room while she was passed out.
We on the other hand had about the best possible night imaginable.

Was at a big party the year the titans played the rams. Husband and wife hosting were huge Titans fans who were really more oiler fans who stayed with the team. Husband got hammered...wife was on his case to slow down with the drinking. He was cussing very loud and pacing back and forth in front of all the people trying to watch. Him and wife start cussing each other in front of people's kids and a preacher was there too. Shoving match ensues and husband and wifee are physically separated by a group of people. Bunch of folks left the party...I stayed till the end when the titans lost at the last play of the game. Husband went into his garage and you could hear him slamming everything around and yelling and breaking crap. Sounded like he was wacling his lawn mower with a golf club. Was funny but also scary.

People that take football that seriously (LSU too) are usually failures in life.

Watched one Super Bowl in a church when Justin Timberlake ripped off Janet Jackson's bra, so that was actually kind of entertaining.

I was invited to a party with "20-30 people" expected today and when I showed up after kickoff there were like 5 people there. Kind of a bummer but thankfully more people trickled in
