Mullen has 4 of the top 5 players in miss committed to Moo State right now.

Lewis has several close friends there.

Lewis has been to more moo state games than any other team. When the team he was committed to beat Bama last year,he was in starkville.

Ok all true but, why did he wait until he was at LSU to de-commit from Ole Piss if he was leaning to State? Doesn't make sense. Does that mean he won't commit to State? Obviously not but the way it is going down it just doesn't make me believe State is the school to beat.

Jesus, Really? If you know recruiting on a novice level, you will know the only thing you pay attention to right now is how many people switch their predictions and on what date it was done. People are panicking because of the #5for5 debacle but with the new recruiting staff we have in place that won't happen very often

I would buy him leaning to cowbell U if there were new info, but the latest I have heard is he decommitted from Ole Miss while he was at LSU.

Its possible that he goes to MSU, but on the outside there is nothing that makes me believe that at this point.

Damnit! I hope this is inaccurate...

If you read this article, then how is this leaving you pissed? Nothing in there says he is favoring MSU at this moment.

All we know is this is a two horse race.

It's MSU vs LSU

Hard to believe we are in jeopardy of not signing a linebacker in this class. Chavis was working his arse off as you can tell.

I don't think you realize how much time Leo has spent on MSU campus, visiting and attending games. He's friends with a bunch of players especially Dak.

Guess you can turn around and say we've lost out on players from LA with friends on the team and that went to games.

What I take out of all these rumors and de committs is that the man wants a little excitement around his decision. He puts 3 or 4 hats on the table while people are chewing their nails and swearting like pigs, Like dogs drawling over a PotorHouse Steak. Now he has the limelight. and everyone is unsure what his announcement might be. Just understand that his decommittment only sets him up for a surprize ending and a little nail biting from us, the fans I could be OM..MOOst...or LSU Icongeauxtigers.png

It's crystal ball prediction Dan Meyer made a cb for moo state yesterdaf and later in the day he changed it too LSU we will get Leo Lewis but of we don't we made it hella hard for the Mississippi schools to hold on to him

a much more reliable poster in that same thread, says Lewis says LSU is the lead, and that his mom wants LSU.

We honestly have no idea so don't count us out yet.

I understand the importance of recruiting, but this Lewis kid is obviously wanting lots more attention by d-committing, so we're giving it to him.

Nobody knows where he will go.

I'd like for him to choose to play for LSU.

I'll wait until NSD, just like everyone else.

Who knows what happens Wednesday but a poster who has been pretty damn accurate so far on 247 says Leo said we lead and we have won over momma so I take that to mean it's far from a done deal to anywhere.

Here's to hoping that Leo rocks our world on Wednesday?

What I wouldn't give to be standing in front of that fax machine glaring intently and waiting anxiously for the sound of a ring.

No way, why would he go to Miss State? Miss State was a flash in 2014 and will go back to where they belong soon.

He wouldn't be going to Miss State to compete for championships, outside of State fanatics, everyone knows State hasn't, and won't, compete for a conference championship. They had their one year in 20 where they only lost 3 games. Now, they lost all of their D, and teams have figured out how to scheme against Dak. They will be back to 6-6 or 7-5 territory next year...along with Ole Miss.

However, props to the kid if he wants to keep his loyalty to a Mississippi school. That would be the only reason he is going there, if he goes, imo.

I hope he goes to LSU. However, I hope you are a kid yourself. If you are that tied up in this recruiting crap, and are an adult, you might want to take a step back and reassess your priorities in life. Just sayin.

I truly think all this drama is running its course with some fans. Sure, the kids still get into it, but most passionate adult fans I know have cooled on following recruiting as closely as they used to, mostly due to the drama the media and the kids themselves try to create.
