Same here. I played bits and pieces at a buddies house but never the whole game. I will scoop it up on a steam sale im sure

I got a PS1 the same year that RE1 came out and got that game. That may have been the hardest game I've ever played because my mom wouldn't me and my brothers a memory card, so I had to play through it with one life and no save points. When I died, I had to start from the beginning.
I was happy as hell when I finally beat it.

I played 3-5, but never the first one. Plan on getting it at some point for sure.

For a young kid on PS1, it was a game you could only play during the day, on the weekend, with all lights on, low sound and with 2+ other human bodies + a dog in the room.

Not currently. I'm surprised it was never given a makeover, I think it's a better game in every way.
