he's a kicker. kickers have no place in HOF. They only succeed when the rest of the players who actually do the hard work and grinding on the field fail to get a TD. His massive amount of points is due to great defense and adequate offense, not because he did anything spectacular. Walking on the field 2-5 plays a game is not worthy of the HOF.

Yeah, that's complete garbage.
If special teams don't matter, then get rid of them. FG kickers are important and if you are going to have them at all, then you should put the best of them in the Hall of Fame. It should be considered according to position.
You should not have 100 RBs (or whatever it is) and only one kicker in the HOF. I get having more of other positions, but if you don't put the ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER IN NFL HISTORY in the HOF, then what do you even have the Hall for?
That makes no sense.

The Hall of Fame will be a complete joke one day as they'll eventually enshrine Roger Goodell. They should have him on his knees at Robert Kraft's feet. SLURP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't Mort the kicker Bum didn't use for a 40 something FG, that if made would put us in the playoffs for the first time.
