Lebron, in addition to the Cowboys and Yankees, also said he was a bulls fan growing up. Talk about fricking bandwagon.

I know a few people who like Lakers\Yankees\UNC

I think people like that are just casual sports fans and don't really care that much about sports but try to appear to

I am more or less a second generation bandwagon fan. I just like all my dad's teams because I grew up watching them with him. However, not all of the teams I like are considered bandwagon now, but they were probably more of front runners in the 60's.

Cubs, Vikings, Lakers, Ohio State (although I have lost a good bit of interest in college football)

I am still not entirely sure how he became a fan of all those teams, but it is what it is. I know he was influenced by what friends picked (he grew up mostly in Chicago). The only team I "picked" after the age of like 6 is the USMNT when I started following soccer in 2010. I casually like a few soccer teams, but I am not a serious fan of them.

Seahawks. Nobody was wearing their stuff five years ago. All of a sudden they have the greatest fan base.

Like I said, I have always supported those teams from the time I could remember sports, so I see no reason to change. I am a huge fan of the Cubs and Vikings and I definitely support the Lakers, but I prefer baseball and football by a decent bit. I grew up watching and rooting for Ohio State, but lost interest when I went to college.

I guess the best link I have is that all teams originated in the Midwest. I do have family from there at least I guess. It kind of sucks to have to defend my choices, but I grew up with it, so my dad's teams mattered a lot more than geographic proximity.
