How would you rate Roger Goodell job performance?

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best.
I'd give him a 4 out of 10. He's good at generating revenue but real bad at Public relation. He said he "cares for players safety" but promotes players playing after 3 days rest on Thursday Night Football.

It would have been a 2 out of 10 until Robert Kraft made him his bitch last week.

The NFL is going to generate revenue regardless. -5 out of 10.

-10. Roger Goodell is the absolute worst.

From an owner's perspective, 8.5/10. From a fan's perspective, 4/10.

The reason Goodell has been implementing a bunch of rules to make the game safer is to protect the NFL from all of the future legal battles. He has to show he did everything in his power to be open about the safety of the game and trying to make it safer.
Even if Goodell didn't give two shits about player safety, he'd still have to act as he has in order to protect the NFL. And he'll take the heat for it.

10! Anyone who hates the Saints is good in my book.

Commissioner is merely playing to the needs of each party. Mad about player safety rules? Blame the players' association for their mounting legal testimonies. Mad about too much quarterback protection? Blame the owners, as their quarterback is their most important asset to protect. Mad about major disadvantages to the defense? Blame yourselves for fantasy football, which primarily rewards offensive statistics. Goodell is just playing his part to try and keep all parties satisfied. He is merely an elected official representing all the people he serves.

10. He has made the NFL more popular than ever and the amount of money they are bringing in is mind-blowing.

He is a butt lick CYA silver spoon son of a bitch who got where he is because his daddy was a senator.

3/10 simply because of the astronomical amount of money he's helped wrangle in which is the biggest part of his actual job. In terms of on field product he'd be in the negative.

1. When the former NFL commish is throwing your arse under the bus, you've messed up. This NFL season was a complete disaster. People talked about off the field crap and officiating as much as the actual games and the NFL is still murdering it in ratings. That's not a testament to Goodell, and I don't see how anyone can credit him for the ratings.
