An LSU student was killed during a robbery outside bar on north side of campus when I was at school. I think she had 5 bucks on her.
Fricking human debris.

It will take a few tailgaters getting shot up during football season for them to make any changes.

If they happen to kill negagaters then Les' plan will have came together.

I love how people talk about how north side of canpus is going downhill. They should have been around there in the late 90s early 00s. The place was a dump and had not a tenth of the money and development it has now.

LOL @ you laughing at them. You shoulda seen it in the late 80s.

Nope. Don't you remember the murder at the Edward Gay Apartments in 2011? i lived at Kirby the last year it was open, and there were always problems with the crime spilling onto that side of campus.

Though being able to walk to the QuikSack for a bag of chicken and a 40oz of bud was worth it.

The murders of the Indian foreign exchange students happened in 2007.

Walls would be fashionable if democracy wasn't so overrated.

Thanks Captain Obvious

LSU's surrounding area has always been bad. I can remember going to The Bengal senior year of HS (1996) and being nervous about hanging out in the parking lot after the bar closed cause the area was so sketchy.

That's a shame. BR is getting worse and worse. I'm glad I left when I did.

In the seventies we were told not to go past Der Weinerschitzel.

I was at LSU in the late 70s and we would go north to the Cotton Club, Mother's Mantle, Brass Rail area but it was sketchy for sure.

Only went to BR to go to LSU. Never once crossed my mind that I would want to take a job and stay in that crappy city after my time was done. Absolutely loved and still love LSU, but my god BR is terrible.
