Didn't think the carb was too bad. I just tdeucen'd the shite out of the pour.

Pretty good. Hardly want to call it a Black IPA though. More like a thin porter. I'm totally missing the hops.

Pretty much the same feeling with the Double Black IPA from Odell I'm drinking. It's 9.5%, but due to lack of hop flavor just seems like a strong porter. Not thick enough for a stout.

Not really. I've brought a 6 pack to the brewery before and they refunded me. I just don't drink the things that seem to have QC issues.

Brewing a pale ale and a wheat beer shouldn't even come to that. it's honorable that they will refund you your money, but come on, this has been happening for awhile

I still think of Parish as the top brewery in Louisiana for the quality they've put out. However, if they're going to start having these kinds of issues with their beers, they'll soon lose that ranking.
I thought maybe it was just a case of a batch of Canebrake being contaminated, but then the Envie pic got me concerned. I think Andrew's a good guy and enjoy his products, but much like the Bayou Teche guys having the metallic taste in their beers when they contracted Lazy Magnolia to do the mass production, I would hate to see Parish now have continuing problems.
