It's funny because the hotel is maybe a block from the parade (Wyndham on Royal), but I just really don't think I'd want to be in that area at all.

it doesnt go that far. Julia is the last street it turns on. Courtyard is on the other side of the ponchatrain expresway. Prob 8 blocks or so. definitely walkable into the warehouse district
