The cost to LSU is just 150,000 more per year for BOTH Kevin Steele and Coach O than it was for just Chavis. A&M is paying Chavis alone 250,000 more per year than we are paying both of those guys.

I just have the feeling that A&M fans are going to be bitching about his salary by the end of next year. It would be sweet to hear the grumblings as they head to BR at the end of November, and hopefully we put a 50-spot on them to finish their season.

Nowhere for their defense to go but up

LSU and 50 spots are rare, especially with the current QB situation

They can't until he pays his buyout

I don't get why some fans are obsessed with salary. Wins and losses are what matters.

I doubt we put 50 on them, but it would be sweet to have a sustained drive with 1:00 left in the 4th to beat them.

I also heard Ponamsky say that Chavis violated 3 clauses in his contract related to contact with other schools. So add breach of contract to the list.

Their defense is too soft.

They should still get run all over.

Don't forget we are paying Brick too. Yep 650k additional for a failed DC and HC is a steal when replacing a top 10 coordinator

Dumbest statement ever. There is no salary cap amongst coaches. Whatever A&M pays Chavis has no bearing on any other coaches. If an A&M assistant makes $1 million or $1.5 million annually, what difference does it make? People obsessing over a coach's paycheck isn't very bright!!!

He's a name that needs talent to produce. His name will help them get that talent....in a few years.
