Elbert was ill all week and wasn't able to practice.

Patterson we believe had a concussion during Vandy game and was held out. Hoping he is ready for Saturday but status still unknown.

Good to see Gray have some success with JP unavailable. Going forward, the Tigers will be very tough to beat if Gray competes as well as the other three guards. The last four minutes last night he looked like the pre-injury Gray.

Agree. The minute load last night for those guys was crazy.

The Hornsby-Quarterman-Epps-Martin-Malone lineup last night was not super successful.

At least Epps got some minutes. You can't develop depth if all the starters are playing 40 plus minutes.

I hate to bang on the kid, but his seven minutes were pretty empty. He was bad and got exploited in our zone and didn't give us anything on the offensive end. He got a few rebounds, but then got one of them taken away from him.

Defense can come along, but the kid needs to stop thinking he's a hot shot 3 point SG and put on 20-30 pounds and become a PF.

Too bad he can't donate his height to Bridgewater.

I've learned my lesson when it comes to banging on freshmen too much, I was tough on Tim Quarterman for most of last season, but he's seriously become a vital player on this team this year... Sometimes it just doesn't click for these guys right away, I think Epps will be a solid player on this team going forward, it'll be nice to have him coming off the bench if he can develop
