Eraserhead's precocious, not genius. Honestly I haven't given it much thought since I last saw it (over a decade ago).

I'm more the kind of person interested in the whole world of cinematic art. There are hundreds of great movies that don't hew to conventional plotting but rather privilege mood and image over story. Appreciating them, or developing a taste for them, just takes patience, an open mind, and experience.

However, I don't like every "art film," so maybe I won't like "Hard to be a God"; obviously I haven't seen it yet.

Dude, I don't wanna keep bangin on ya, but that trailer's even worse than the first one. I don't have a lot of experience with Russian cinema...ok, I have no experience with Russian cinema...but if it's all like this, it's not for me.

Did you see that this movie is based on a book written by the same guys who wrote Stalker?
