Aren't you a special kind of guy? I don't know what your obsession is, but we're not hiring. As soon as something opens op I'll be sure to let you know.

Did jimmy bone your wife? You seem to have a lot of animosity for a guy who has treated LA. Recruiting pretty well

Like I said, no one on the planet earth saw the G Willis thing coming. Not your fault he simply had no integrity and we saw this get confirmed on the FL squad didn't we? But the Hill prediction was out there for example...way, way out there. Unless you know something about a guy from Texas that no one remotely hinted at, somebody gave you bad intel. I mean, it was pretty obvious I think that LSU wasn't #1...LSU wasn't #2. I don't know if they were even #3 to be honest.

It's not bad info and that's what you don't understand. It's not nearly as black and white as you believe.

Ex: Tony Brown called two LSU coaches the night before his announcement to reconfirm his commitment. The wheeling and dealing obviously goes way beyond your understanding. I will continue to get things wrong as would most if they weren't so worried about people like you that freak out causing them to toe the line. You can hit 15 and miss on 1 and everybody kills you for that one.

Texas did a great job of fending off LSU, much like LSU did with Georgia. Very similar in fact. Frank Wilson spent the evening before and the morning of Donte's announcement in his face, on his couch etc. Texas did the same thing with Hill and it's become the norm. But I'm sure you already have an expansive knowledge of the way recruiting works so I apologize for wasting your time reading this post.

I wasn't a journalist. I worked the back end of this business and I just try to give my readers a different view of what's going on.

Please don't apologize to this jacktard again.

I don't know much about you but you do have a following here and many here like you .

There will always be "those guys" that find fault in everything people here do (CLM) for example.

Just do what you do and don't let stuff like this distract you.
Can't be on top of your game worrying about Smurfs.

PS. Last time I use Smurf in a post.

Ok, let's assume that is exactly what happened. Do you think that LSU still has a chance with him. He didn't sign with Texas and can't for 5 more days. I mean IF LSU was really right up there, what will keep Hill from flipping at the last minute?

To be fair on the "hit 15 and miss on 1", it isn't like most of the 15 are betting on 1 number on a routlette wheel...in other words, there are many LSU signees that were LSU from day 1. Just like for all other teams who have locks on certain players. So yeah, predictors like basketball players are judged on the "tough shots", not the layups.

Neither Meyer at tOSU or Malzahn at Auburn are going to train a QB to play Pro-style and hence NFL offense. Both of these programs will make a great college QB that will not have a job afterwards. So from that I think Cam has a chance here.

I know that Malzahn has Cam Newton to his credit but he is a freak of nature and an exception to the rule...

No negative insinuation was meant by that. OK, it is a FACT. My ? remains. Why would Hill not flip to LSU if he really wants to come to LSU? That sir is a very valid ?

Saying that Dupre is a solid commit.

My answer mirrors an explanation I have above. The same reason Donte won't likely flip. No kid likes decommitting. It's a stressful time and they build tight bonds with these coaches. Jackson felt extremely bad for Jeremy Pruitt when he picked LSU. He would feel even worse flipping on Frank and Corey. I doubt Hill would want to do that to Strong and Chris Vaughn right now.

The layups are the ones once again that were never really in much doubt. Every big time program has a bunch of commits that anybody who follows recruiting knew from day 1 of their recruitment where they were going. Whether you want to mathematically define them as 40 out of 40 crystal balls on 24/7 that ended up correct and were right 1 year in advance of NSD....that is one example.
