What offensive philosophy does Monty run?

It seems to me it's 1 on 1 streetball with no creativity whatsoever.

Lots of pick and roll and they do a lot of multiple screens to free up the guy that gets the ball, but once the guy that gets the ball has it, there is no movement.

- high screen and roll with AD

- AD either gets picked up or ignored

- that's our only play

We don't score unless our talent makes an exceptional individual effort to do so. Open looks generally don't happen in the Montyball system

We're actually really good when we have solid ball movement.

No

I prefer to call it the "statue" offense. Everyone emulates marble statues staring at each other motionless.

Watching Tyreke and EG drive to the basket and dishing it out, Tyreke looks lost as hell doing it. EG is so fluid even Asik gets clean dunks
