Y'all want him to hang our by himself? I've never seen this place with more than 3 cars in the parking lot, including mine the couple times I went there.

Oyster Bar, Great Raft, I think Frank's has a bar that's decent to sit at, superior steakhouse to see and be seen

Noble Savage is great. Will usually have a blues band Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Good liquor, Beer, Food, and atmosphere. Only down side is they done have TV's.

Bears on Fairfield is a good bar. Not sure if they have food or not. Might be some hipsters there, but its not a college scene.

Looking for a good place to hang tomorrow night. 30's/40's - no college bars.

Any recommendations?

Don't know if it's still there but there use to be a pretty cool place called Coyotes.

The Cove on Cross Lake

That's "Da Cove" isn't it?

I like pulling up there on a party barge during the summer, but I'm not real fond of driving a vehicle down there though.

Speaking of Bossier dumps, is Bilbo Baggins still open?

Sounds like Vintage (Line Ave. Next to Chianti) is what you are looking for. Small, good clientele - draw back is they allow smoking in there. The bar at Bella Fresca or Wine country Bistro are also good low-key spots to hang and have a drink and some conversation.

Vintage is the best bet.
