Especially if they do. The whole point is that you'd rather read a newspaper than watch pre-meltdown Frank Martin and his team of 2 stars and foreigners.

Maybe all the students should play with their phone at the same time instead of holding up newspapers?

The thing that I also remember about the newspapers is that in the 80's, when everyone actually did it, the students would wad the papers up and throw them onto the floor after the other team had been introduced. They used to have people with garbage cans run out onto the floor to clean it up...

I'd love to see the student section be crazy again. students sections are funny when they do stuff completely out the box. I remember a few years ago when that opera singer came to a game or two and sing during free throws. I thought that was hilarious.
