Kid should be on the field in the red zone for sure.

Should be used as FB and get many passes out in the flat.

I hope expectations aren't too high for him. Understand that he has never played fullback. He was required to block very sparingly in high school. He would occasionally protect, but was in a lot of the routes on pass plays. The only time he did block, he blocked LB's on QB runs.

That being said, I have no doubt in my mind that he could do it because he's extremely smart, and very coachable.

Watching his highlights does his running style kinda resemble Cecil Collins?

Ducre is a running back not a FB, DW is a running back not a FB.

He will play a lot from day one, just like Hester did IMO. FB/TB/ST; he'll get a lot of snaps.

Would he be wasted at fullback though? That's a position that could get him on the field early and Cams offense historically does use a fullback beyond acting simply as an extra blocker. I mean in the past couple of seasons we've seen handoffs to Copeland (not sure why) and some passes to the FB coming out of the backfield. I think Ducre would be a better fit than recent fullbacks if the staff does have a want to utilize the fb in that way.

Expectations are way to high for him around here. Coachable and very strong. But he has the Tarzan/Jane complex.

He should be a RB, kind of would be wasted at FB.

I like Mouton as FB

Exactly. Also seems like Cam wants to switch to an H-back instead of just a regular plowing fullback. Mouton would work great as well as Upchurch for that role.

Based on what? It's certainly not his film.

No doubt. Really excited about Guice, kid has a ton of confidence and his film is extremely impressive. WE STACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's funny is that one of the guys who does the rankings says that he wouldn't have a problem at all if he was rated as the #1 RBA, but they list him at five. Guice is the best looking RB in this class and at 5'11 214 and already running a legit 4.4 something (clocked 4.35 and 4.32 at LSU camps), has great physical abilities. Some of the best hands on any RB in this class as well. Vision, explosion, change of direction, is all elite. He breaks tackles like crazy and his running style sometimes looks like a spinning top just bouncing off of people.

I wouldn't count us out of having two, thousand yard rushers if we play 15 games .

Won't go into any more detail. I'm sure his highlights are awesome. He plays soft.

He better know a thing or two about ball security. I love his ability, but Miles, and I agree with him on this, will not tolerate a guy who does not secure the ball.

He will start there in spring b/c no one else plays there now. Mouton will be inserted there when he arrives. Ducre will be good at FB and RB

I hope we do away with the FB position completely, personally. Spread the field with a one back, split back sets. Pipedreams I know
