Yup, Leg Day. I hate leg day. I guess that makes me the minority. I limp around sore all day today and most of tomorrow despite doing this for about 1 year.
Pyramided:
1 set at 80% of max
1 set at 95% of max
1 set at 100% of max (sometimes don't make it to ten)
1 set at 80% of max
6 X 10 incline leg press (first 2 are warm-up to start out)
4 X 10 seated calf raises
4 X 10 leg extensions
4 X 10 leg curls
4 X 10 seated straight leg calf raises
4 X 10 lunges
Abs: 80 situps on the ball with kettle weight, 30 machine ab crunches, 20 side bends, 30 scissor kicks
Cardio tonight. 35 mins incline walking (30 mins aggressive, 5 mins cooldown) on treadmill

Hows the bulletproof working for you?
[/quote
Pretty well. It tastes good and it gives me way more energy than normal coffee. I only take it sporadically ie when I need a boost

I thought I would start a fitness thread in the spirit of OleYeller's post from yesterday on why we can't have a Fitness Board. I've found some of the recent workout threads helpful and thought it might be good to just have a daily thread where people can come in and post whatever they want about fitness. So, I'm starting today's and maybe we can just keep it going.
lets do it!!!
ate 3 boiled egg whites at 9:00
quest bar 10:00
will eat 3oz baked turkey at 1:00
protein shake at 3:00
8oz baked chicken and veggies for dinner tonight
today is my rest day in the gym, tomorrow is bicep and back followed by chest and tri's friday.
This past month been doing nothing but lifting. will start some cardio monday to mix in for a month and see what happens.
Started January 5th 5'6" 167lbs
Today 158lbs
was hoping to get to about 150 "i was 145-150 last summer" but wasnt doing any weights at all just cardio. So i hope the reason im holding lbs is because ive been hitting the weights 4-5 days a week this month and putting on muscle, and not just because im getting fat

Losing 9 pounds in a little over three weeks is solid work. Doubt you're not losing more because you're getting fat. I wouldn't expect anyone at your size to lose any more weight than that over that time period.

Today was chest. My elbow's killing me, I may need to give it a rest. I broke my bench PR last Friday, but only by 5 pounds. Sunday I broke my deadlift PR by 30 pounds
I'll be doing C25K after work today.

Why would you make it to 10 doing your max?
Hulkk dont give it a rest just lighten up on trying to max out. No need for that foolishness.

I hadn't gone for maxes in a long time, did maxes this past weekend for the first time in several months. Felt great.

Awesome work. A PR is a PR. As far as your elbows go, sombra and sling shot elbow wraps, both work wonders. You may also want to watch Garret Griffin's big on the basics bench tutorial on YouTube. I've been pain free since I've been following the correct technique he breaks down.

It was more about what I stopped doing than what I am doing. Not really into supplements, I was just eating so much crap
For the first couple months where the majority of the weight loss came from I cut out soft drinks and fast food, and then I just did a ton of cardio as much as I could (3-4 days a week) but I allowed myself 1-2 cheat meals a week to a restraunt so I didn't go insane
Throughout the week tho I pretty much lived off of yogurt, bacon, eggs; and chicken. It's a tough diet but the weight falls off of you which kept me motivated. And it's a low carb diet but my weight doesn't gain back like everyone says those usually do. Over the holiday break I maintained despite eating really bad and not working out that much.
Picked up a gym membership by my home on the weekends that I feel comfortable in actually lighting weights in so I've been doing that for like a month and I've seen some really good results by doing high reps and isolation type workouts. I work out alone so I don't go too heavy. It's more toning than getting big for me
I think the key was just cutting out fast food and dr peppers, which I consumed at an embarrassing rate during the previous year

It wasn't killing me after the maxes. Oddly enough, it started this morning seemingly out of nowhere.

I put a big emphasis on form.. Not saying I've got perfect form, though. I can't point to what caused the pain initially. It got progressively worse throughout the workout today, to the point where I stopped on the last exercise.

great job. I did similar about 5years ago. went from 183-150 in 4months. If you are strict with it, it works! Im in same boat as you, i dont want to get big, i just want to tone up, and be more lean.
