I had it done when I was 17 in a different state and it had been 22 years since the surgery. I had a torn ACL, MCL and cartilage. My old Dr. had retired but and NL could clearly see a torn meniscus so who was I to argue? When I was 17 I didn't' worry about the details, but looking back I shouldnt have been so trusting. Just hope no one else makes my mistake.

Bankston scoped my knee 3 weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with how everything went. And there was no wait to see him and scheduling the surgery was easy as well

What did the MRI report say, what is your first MD recommending?

How old are you?

What is your activity level?

That is who did mine. I have never heard anything bad about the physicians at Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic.

Meniscal tear, 51 active - running, do inning class, weights and golf. The pain had subsided for about 6 weeks and started back after some activity

met with B Bankston today and I will have scope done early March he was surprised that I was still playing tennis (badly) and golf (poorly) with the junk that's in the knee - he said that I have a lot of junk floating around and maybe some meniscal issues as well - he just needed a xray to see what helped him reach a decision.

updated for those that give a shite about my pathetic life - carry on.
