Fine, cutscenes

The only company that still does them right is blizzard. I remember though it used to be every game you'd get so excited when you finally beat a level to get access to another bad arse cutscene. Now, nothing.

And that's the only thing Blizzard does right lately, and still their dialogue and writing have gotten terrible. I'm not an 8 year old kid that needs things spelled out for me.
They'll never make anything better than this.

Why are they the only one that does them right?

What great cutscenes have come out in games that you have played recently. None really come to mind. I'm playing Diablo right now and those are badass. Mass effect had brief glimpses into space battles that couple have been epic if they put more work into them.
(By cutscenes, I mean pre-rendered, not using in-game engine)

Those are becoming more and more rare. I'm trying to remember the last time I saw one.

Which i like. One thing I've really enjoyed is games that incorporate that into the gameplay to where there's no loading or anything and you play immediately into the next mission/part.

Halo 2 Anniversary had the best cut scenes(by Blur) I've ever seen. Hopefully we will see more of their work in future Halo games. You should check them out

They're in very few JRPGs and Blizzard games. That's about it.
Final Fantasy XIII had some pretty great ones. LINK

They've been stealth adding cutscenes into some of the end-game content. Unlocked one last week and was surprised.

Kojima does some great ones, but they are WAY too long.
The cutscene where Snake kills the Boss in MGS3 is particularly hard to watch because it won't advance the scene until you, the player, pull the trigger and kill her.
Also at the end of 4 when Big Boss is so weak he can't light his own cigar and starts weeping, Snake lights it for him, and you see it just slowly fall out of his mouth as he dies.
