LSU's I/L Most Valuable Pitcher Ranaudo traded by Red Sox to Rangers

Anthony Ranaudo and his 14-4 2014 season was traded to the Texas Rangers today for Robbie Ross , Jr. Disappointing to me as a long-time Sox fan, really was looking forward to him getting a lot more starts in Fenway this year. oh well, I wish him the best.

Don't be too disappointed, Ross was a beast his rookie year in the bullpen and he has a great attitude. Kind of disappointed we traded him, but for ranaudo I think I can live with it lol

I'm loving this trade!! He has a legit shot to stay in the Rangers rotation. Was hoping they would draft him when he was eligible. All smiles here.

Love this trade. Every time we saw Ross taking the field last year we were "uh oh-ing". The guy got lit up last year. Put 140 on base in 78 innings pitched. He just wasn't on his game. Good guy...wish him the best. Welcome aboard Ranaudo!

That Arlington stadium in July is like sitting in front of a furnace- not every pitcher can hack it.
So psyched!!!
(I forgot the Rangers DID actually draft him after HS- good thing he didn't sign- the ONE time I'm glad a player didn't )
