The New Orleans Pelicans opened the season with one of the more surreal team-made videos you'll ever see. This is surreal-er:

As UPROXX points out, this is a take-off of an old series of furniture commercials, with Anthony Davis playing the role of the grumpy old "Special Man," Tyreke Evans playing the "WITH NOOOOO PROBLEM" person, and Ryan Anderson emceeing the whole thing with a gray wig and wiggly limbs. The lady buying the tickets is a gem, too.

The Dallas Mavericks used to have the market for weird videos cornered, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have had their moments, but the Pelicans may have just pulled into the lead. (Also that ticket deal is absurdly cheap and I wish I lived in New Orleans.)

yeah, the ticket package is nice, but unfortunately that particular three game plan would cost $70 according to my rep not $24. Apparently, that $24 plan would be like the Pistons, Bucks, and Raptors. Good teams...that no one wants to see.

They do have some outstanding deals on the Hawks game...If only I had more money. Something like 2 floors and 10 clubs for $1000. My rep has talked to me twice about it already, but I just can't afford it atm. It would be nice to have a Pelitalk get together on Monday for ~$80/each.
