No Bama hate here, but I think this guy is severely overrated. Doesn't seem fast to me. Interested to see his 40's. Looks average, but in a great system that surrounded him with great players.

Nope. He's fast, runs excellent routes, does little things like come back to the ball, plucks the ball instead of body catches. If he were 3 inches taller he'd #1 pick

Who is fast to you then? Pietro Maximoff?

1. He's not falling to us
And
2. That's extremely short sighted. Our passing game isn't the problem. Protecting our QB, defending the pass, and rushing the QB are.

Not that you always draft for need, but, I just don't see this happening.

3. The defense needs to remember how to tackle. They acted like it was 2012 again.

on a separate note... Corey White wins the Bone Head defensive play of the year award for me. The play where Golden Tate beat him for the TD in Detroit.

dude just looked like a spazzed out on that play. What am I doing? Where am I going?

Let's bring Ditka back. Maybe it'll happen.

Mayock has White over Cooper in his top 5 WRs rankings

Also has Shaq Thompson as a safety

Would be great to get him, but I don't think it happens

If we had to take a skill position player in the 1st I'd love Melvin Gordon, the guy just has vision that you can't teach. I'd rather build from the inside out like Dallas has done with their o-line though.

Cooper can run like the wind blows. Reportedly ran a consistent low 4.3 in the spring last year. You have to take any school reported numbers with a grain of salt but that speed translated to the football field. We'll find out in Indianapolis. I'm afraid his 40 time is what will land him in Oakland

Agreed, but if he's reported as running a 4.3, I would think that typically means the worst he would have ran would be between a 4.38 - 4.43.

Sounds reasonable. The Saints should neglect the O-line and front 7 to draft another WR because if we've learned anything, it's that a big time WR = championship. Ask the final 4 teams fighting for the title this year. None had big time WRs. Control the LOS, have a great QB, and everything else falls into place.

He's a legit 4.3 guy. Dude can flat out fly.

No. You do not know how to use Bama players so you're not allowed to have anymore!

Cooper ran a 4.42 at the combine today. He'll probably shade a few hundredths off of that time at his Pro Day, but those times always come with some scrutiny.

I would not be upset if we took UWV WR Kevin White either if the player we want is not there. Dude will be a beast, Dez light.

Zero chance he gets out of the top 7

Agreed, he has a chance to the top WR and could end up going top 5.

this all gives me hope that two WR goes top 10 and pushes Collins/Scherff back to us.
