Do you keep the dealership's name decal on the car, or do you take it off....

I didn't get paid to advertise someone's business, that shite comes off the first day... Everything from decals to license plate frames...

Matter of fact, I usually tell them not to put it on because I'll take it off anyway...

I don't care enough to take it off even though I don't care for it

Of course not...the same way I don't allow a clothing store to sew on their name to something I buy from them.

I'm in advertising...frick that noise. With the amount of money car dealers spend oth on their own and via co-op they are not getting me to drive around with a free billboard for them on my vehivle.

I love the ones that now put the website on a window decal. I've never taken one off of the paint of a vehicle, but you can bet I'm removing the one from the window as soon as it leaves the lot.

It's actually pretty ballsy to even consider doing such a thing when you step back and realize it. What other business feels the need to add their retail logo to an item for simply selling it to you as a middle man?

Some dealerships will do free oil changes as long as you keep it on.

I see people driving around with that stuff plastered all over their cars...

Do they not understand they paid a car business for a vehicle and to be a rolling billboard for the dealership...

Had new gutters put on my house, the gutter company put their sign in front my house. Told the guy to take it with them because I was just going to throw it away, or they could take 1000 dollars off and I'll keep it in front my house for a year... He took the sign...

What's the best way to remove it? I think I used fishing line last time and it still left a sticky residue, so I haven't attempted to remove it on this truck.

I keep my front dealer plate on because of this. I can always just put it on before I go in for my free oil change but A. I don't give that much of a shite to take it off and on and B. I'm getting free oil changes on my diesel so I see it as a wash.

Do you take Ford/Chevy /Dodge badges also? Or are you cool with advertising for them for free?

I take pretty much every badge and sticker on the vehicle off.
