The video doesn't matter. Goofdell never watches videos.

It'll be a lot more serious if the video gets into public view.

I don't get why you think that's funny?

This was the first time Brady has ever looked nervous, he's had a pristine rep for 15 years, and it's bought him absolutely nothing in this case, and he's the source of national shame.

But screw it, he makes a lot of money, therefore he doesn't have feelings, right?

The only thing crazy is the reaction to this story that should be a non-story.

Hell, there were 2 other similar type of rules broken allegedly by NFL teams recently and no one cares at all.

It's only as big a story as it is because it's the Patriots.

I disagree with all of this.

I'm pulling for the Patriots and I think this is a legit story.

Meh. I'm going to wait for the video. If it was insanely obvious, it would have already seen the light of day.

How long did it take for the Ray Rice video to leak?

I think it is funny because I think it is ridiculous that some people dont think he ordered it

I still dont think it is a big deal though

Don't think he'd make some a strong statement like that unless he knew how this would end. Which is nothing

What's noteworthy about that Kraft statement is that it was issued hours after the Jay Glazer "revelation" that the locker room attendant took a detour with the balls while going from the referees room to the Patriots sideline, and after the NFL statement advising all principals to stay quiet on the subject.

The key to the Glazer information is whether the video in question was taken from the standard fixed cameras that are all over the Stadium complex or from an individual who was watching the guy. I say this because you can be sure that Kraft and Belichick, and other senior team officials, including their own security people, watched the video from all fixed cameras in that route from the refs room to the field and knew what they were turning over to the NFL. They presumably would have seen this attendant make his "detour" and would have questioned him immediately. if so, Kraft making this statement would seem to indicate he feels confident with the answers he got from the attendant.

Now, if the Glazer NFL source was talking about video from someone not affiliated with the team, that would be an entirely different story, as it's doubtful Kraft & Company would have been shown that video.

There's also the question of how long the attendant was out of sight. Did he make a quick diversion from his route or was he in there long enough to tamper with 12-24 balls? Was he acting suspicious, looking around before and after entering the room ? There's a lot of questions that would need to be answered, obviously.

As for the suggestions that if in fact he did tamper with the pressure in the footballs and was caught in the act, or admitted under the grilling from the NFL power team, that he might be paid off by the Patriots to deny anyone in the organization ordered or requested him to do it, just the opposite could be the case. TMZ, or SI, or many other major media resources, would pay this guy BIG BUCKS for exclusive rights to his story throwing the Pats or Belichick or Brady under the bus. The guy might be hated in Boston, but he would be hailed as a hero whistleblower in 31 other NFL cities, would be invited on all the big TV shows, become an A-List celebrity and have 978 groupie girls wanting to spend his newfound dollars and be seen with him. All he would have to do is move out of New England. The assumption that a locker room attendant would choose "loyalty" and a few bucks over the national spotlight and more bucks is laughable to me. (hell, Rex would likely even let the guy tap his wife if he pulls down the Pats singlehandely.)

We'll know soon enough.

Fourth, again from the same source, the video shows the employee in the bathroom for approximately 90 seconds.

And, yes, the photo accompanying this story was taken inside one of the bathrooms at Gillette Stadium. When NBC broadcast the Ravens-Patriots playoff game from Foxboro on January 10, Florio Jr. demanded pictures from the venue. Since he didn’t specify where he wanted them from, I took one inside the bathroom and texted it to him.

Uhhh...

He sent it to his son as a joke.

It was weird to include in the article, but he had to give a reason why he was taking pictures of the bathroom in Gillette.
