We don't even know what room he took the balls in, if he deflated them, or anything else. For all I know, he could have taken a shite.
I just hate that the NFL is peice meaning this stuff. Release the fricking video, just don't describe it.

The league probably already destroyed it.

quote:I gotcha. It does say he took the balls from the officials locker room, which according to the official on ESPN that is not normal.

And his name was Patsie McDonald
I can't imagine how pissed Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Krafts are that this dude took it upon himself to steal these balls and deflate them after they had already been inspected.

No offense, but I've heard the washed up officials that Fox and the other networks use, and I'm not impressed haha.
Mike Perrara gets more wrong calls than John D. Google.

He didn't "take" the balls from the referees room. The balls were turned over to him as the authorized Patriots employee charged with transporting the balls from the room to the field 15 minutes before the game. The issue is that he purportedly stepped into another room on the way from the referees room to the field.
Glazer tweeted this information at 12:24 Pm Eastern time today.

Lol, you gotta love when idiots get a mouthpiece. Some random guy took balls when he wasn't supposed turns into ballboy is given balls. This whole thing is stupid and now you have NTD getting math wrong.

this has gotten so crazy
Hell, there were 2 other similar type of rules broken allegedly by NFL teams recently and no one cares at all.
It's only as big a story as it is because it's the Patriots.

The end result of this is some poor equipment manager will get fired for taking the initiative on him self to bleed the balls.

The question is will this guy fall on the sword for the team ( and likely get a nice check under the table ) or sing like a bird?

I'm thinking a check under the table and a lower management job at Gillette.
" Honest Mr. godell I hated working for the pats they treated me real bad. I thought I'd let some air outta the balls and screw them over."
End of story.

Beginning of the end of Goodell. Kraft is salty
Don't think he'd make some a strong statement like that unless he knew how this would end. Which is nothing
quote:
In a prepared statement Monday night, Patriots owner Robert Kraft criticized how the NFL’s investigation of allegations of under-inflated footballs has proceeded and offered a strong defense of his franchise, most specifically coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. In one of his strongest remarks, Kraft said the NFL would owe Belichick and Brady apologies if its probe did not find wrongdoing committed by New England.
“If the Wells investigation is not able to definitely determine that our organization tampered with the air pressure in the footballs, I would expect and hope that the league would apologize to our entire team, and in particular, Coach Belichick and Tom Brady, for what they have had to endure this past week,” Kraft said Monday night. Of Brady and Belichick, Kraft said: “They are my guys. They are part of my family. And Bill, Tom and I have had many difficult discussions over the years, and I have never known them to lie to me.”
In his statement, Kraft held that the Patriots’ integrity had been unfairly questioned because of “public discourse which has been driven by media leaks.” Said Kraft: “I am disappointed in the way this entire matter has been handled and reported upon. We expect hard facts as opposed to circumstantial leaked evidence to drive the conclusion of this investigation.”
