CBs right? The same CBs that were trending to Florida just a short time ago? The same Jefferson that articles said was a package deal with Cowart to Auburn?

Thanks but no thanks on the SUPPOSED "making up ground." BTW, I assume everyone notices that IMMEDIATELY after someone visits a school, they get CBs...Jefferson...Kyler Murray...Daylon Mack...etc, etc, etc.

BTW, was 24/7 started by some Auburn and Florida guys. I can understand Alabama getting a ton of predictions but last count (slight exaggeration), Auburn was going to sign 3241 prospects and Florida about 4000. What the hell is up with what SHOULD be a neutral recruiting site scamming everybody into believing Auburn and Florida lead for everyone. What sheep poop!

I think we have a solid chance but I'm not getting my hopes up by any means.

I certainly hope that Jefferson (if he signs with LSU) turns out better than Robert N. The guy has not been a bust, but c'mon, best player in the country in that class? 5* prospect? To rank him at Rival's numerical scale, Robert N has played about at a 5.9 level (medium 4*) at best.

The guy was so slow, they had to move him inside. I remember him his 1st year at OM playing DE. The guy was split out further than the WRers because they knew he couldn't cover the end. Jefferson is much more of an athlete than Robert N ever dreamed of being.

CJ Johnson has an older brother at Ole Miss?

Yeah, I think he was talking Denzel and Robert N but Robert's # is 5 and Denzel's is 4.

whoops

And CJ is from Mississippi correct? And committed to the Nutt regime.

So that isn't very comparable either.

Hasn't he (Robert) had some health issues?

I would love to have him at LSU.

Does Anyone feel good about our chances with CeCe Jefferson? Do you think Les pulls a Rabbit Out Of The Hat on Signing Day, by flipping a 5 Star or signing a 5 Star that most consider us not having a chance with?

Then he's had that health issue for 2 years. Because I watched him in multiple games in 2013 and 2014, and he is way, way overrated. He hasn't even been the best DL on OM's team. You expect a #1 overall prospect to be dominant...he hasn't been IMO...not remotely close to that. He basically is a just a decent starting SEC DL. That is it!

I think Godchaux is a better player than Robert N and we are talking a TR FR vs a TR SO.

It's gonna be a fight to the finish with him. He's kicking the tires at Bama now too, and has that visit to y'all this weekend. Too close to call.

Lol, what games were you watching? Obviously not the ones watched by NFL scouts that have him projected as a first round top five pick.

What's making people think this guy is even heavily leaning to LSU? I don't get it. I think it's pretty unrealistic to think O is making up that ground this fast. If we land this dude because of O he needs a raise.

IMO, 0% chance Jefferson signs with Alabama. He kicked the tires 3 months ago on his official visit there. Hasn't even been mentioned with them since then. And Steele was director of personnel at that time he visited to boot along with one of the LBer coaches (yes, I know he plays DL).

I personally watched Ed recruit while he was at Ole Miss. Don't sell him short on his ability to connect with croots.
