Yep, and Brees also had a rare deep ball miss to him that should have been a touchdown.

That was a game where Brees "managed the game" and didn't turn it over, yet we got killed. I'll take him forcing balls and making plays over that cautious BS we had going that game.

The offense was complete shite with Graham injured and Cooks down.

The first game of his career he should have had two touchdowns. He took the top off the defense and the ball was underthrown. He had one drop all season which was a deep ball concentrated drop. Other then that, he caught everything

Wasn't his drop against Green Bay? Blew by the double coverage, wide open, perfect throw, and dropped it. Caught another one too.

From the bye week to the game he was injured, he had 3 deep receptions for 40 yards/catch and 2 tds. Brees had 4 deep TDs during that span (should have been 5) and hit at over 60% on 20+ yards. Our offense had turned it around at that point

Yep dropped an easy one, then made a ridiculous grab to redeem himself.

Nothing suggest that kind of explosiveness. It is far, far more likely that he's full of shite.

He is not 4.41 speed. I guarantee he is not, nor will he ever be.

The 2 NFL clips you posted does not show anything impressive as far as speed, outside of it being compared to his size. He's fast for how big he is, but does he have 4.41 explosiveness? frick no

I'm failing to see thee 4.4 speed in any of those gifs. Do you really think he's faster than AJ Green?

I can show you clips of Graham getting behind the defense too, and he is in 4.5+ range

Joe Morgan ran a 4.44. Benjamin is not faster than Joe Morgan.

Please show me anywhere where I have said anything about Benjamin having 4.4 speed? You mentioned explosiveness. He has more then enough explosiveness for his size.

This is what you responded to with those gifs:

quote:

His speed is good for his size, and it matches his other attributes. Nothing suggest that kind of explosiveness

The entire post you responded to was about him running in the 4.4 range and his speed.

You just quoted numerous articles where he said he could run a 4.41. You also responded to me saying he doesn't have 4.4 speed.

Seriously? No one is saying otherwise. Also from the post you responded to with all those gifs:

quote:

His speed is good for his size, and it matches his other attributes.

He was a 1st round draft pick. We're saying he doesn't have the explosiveness that comes with 4.4 speed.

The articles I posted had nothing to do me saying I felt Benjamin was a 4.4 runner. I posted them to back the point about tanking his tanking his 40 time.

We're saying he doesn't have the explosiveness that comes with 4.4 speed.

Again, I was never said otherwise. Benjamin isn't a 4.4 receiver but he isn't 4.61 either. That's been my stance.

So he was able to throw off his 40 just enough to shave .5 seconds off it

Come on, he was disappointed with his 40 time at the combine, so he made up this excuse. He's a big guy, so it takes him longer to get to top speed. His 10 yard splits reflect that.

Also, according to the Panthers chatter, Philly Brown is the undisputed fastest receiver on the Panthers.

He ran a 4.51
