Paid attendance FWIW. Good because LSU gets the money. Not so good becuase there are about 30,000 no shows for every game (ETA: OUTSIDE OF BAMA) and another 1/3 of those seats are empty by half time.

Paid attendance brah. All that new premium seating was paid for before the season even began. Imagine if we had one more home game, instead of the neutral site game at Houston.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham, which recently became the first major program to drop football in 19 years, had the second-largest FBS increase in 2014. The Blazers averaged 21,841 fans per game, better than 36 other FBS programs and up 107 percent from last year.

Bama may have had 101 plus on paper but there were games where the was not 101 there. I wish they counted turnstile (scans now) and got a true reading.

They stopped using turnstile counts with the rise in premium seating. Paid is used instead of actual because suites and club seating are paid before the season.

To be fair, suites and club seating prolly have a higher attendance avg than regular seating.

FYI LSU had 71,599 attendance for the game in Houston vs Wisconsin, which was the largest attendance for a college football game in NRG Stadium history.
