Pondexter is no world-beater but it was obvious this team was underachieving versus the talent. It wasn't a matter of bringing in more talent. It was just shedding whatever was inexplicably killing this team, specifically defensively. It's looking like just not having a 3 was a lot bigger than we could even imagine.

Yeah, we had 2 terrible losses last week, but thats not really that unexpected. You put a roster of Tyreke, Goron, Pondexter, Ryno, Asik, Cunningham in any jersey, and thats a bottom 5 team in the NBA. You see how bad OKC was without their 2 stars? Jrue is no GOATbrook, but our team probably drops off comparably from taking the 2 best off.

I take Ponderer over Rivers any day of the week. So glad that we made that trade! His defense has been pretty damn good. Wolters was terrible on D tonight, a lot missed assignments.

Maybe not, but I've always thought he was a solid player. Maybe he's actually coming into his own now.

Clearly.

Actually getting an NBA rotation quality wing makes a big difference.

The Knicks and Sixers losses are still terrible though. Those 6 guys may be seriously flawed without Davis, but they are still enough to be beat those 2 teams.

Combining those 2 rosters, can we find 6 better players than what the Pels sent out?
