It and Carraba's are the best chains here ..

I can't get into Carraba's.

I am a fan of Bonefish and Flemings though.

Only been to JAlexanders 3-4 times. I like the Asian salad they have though. That peanut sauce

Carraba's

Is this the same as Johnny carinos? I think I have seen their name together before but can't remember if they were owned by the same companies..

One of their best dishes is their Steak Marsala.

Don't often think about this place, mostly because it is on the other side of town for me, but it has always been consistent and good for what it is and price point.

See, I find the prices aren't really much different than DiGiulio's, which is fantastic food.

My parents love Carrabas. I don't think the food is bad at all. I just prefer DiGiulio's if I'm eating Italian. A couple years ago, we did Carrabas twice in 2 weeks for some reason, and both times the a-hole customers we were seated next to ruined it for me So I am biased.

I've posted this a couple time here, but it's worth repeating.

I spend 7-8 years in the food service industry. J. Alexanders was, by far, the freshest, cleanest, most organized kitchen I've ever been in. And the demand for customer service they put on the front of the house is second to none. Every single item on the menu is cooked and taste tasted in the morning before opening, and everything that can be made fresh and in house is.

Just for comparison, I also spent about 2 years workign at CCL, and there is not a single aspect of food service that they come close to J's.

I don't care if it's a chain. It's managed well and the food is excellent.
