Reynolds pushed to move the opening date back a week this year because it's what the public wanted. What are your thoughts on that move now?

We had a really solid first split, and we've kept good numbers of birds throughout the second split, so I'm happy with it.

I can only speak for my area though.

I really liked the old format a lot. However I was pleasantly surprised the way this worked also. I would be happy with either going forward.

Was good for us. Limited in 45 mins opening day. Birds have been good all year. I would like a longer split and have the season go into feb, which is allowed by the North American treaty. My charter capt buddy reports awesome duck numbers after the seasob

February will never happen under the current federal guide lines. I am happy we get to hunt until the end of Jan that's a big improvement over past years.

I'm happy it was pushed back. A little sad it's now closing but that's every year for me.

That's because they're not getting banged on all day every day.

Less pressure = more ducks kicking it in the marsh doing duck things.
