you mention soda and pop. there is also soda pop.
coke is a brand, but in fact, there are states where fizzy drinks are called coke, like kleenex cornered the word/market on their product.

I'd always called it Coke, but since I only drink Sprite now sparingly, that's what I use.

Cold drink or Coke.
In New Orleans, window signs on gas stations say cold drink. I wonder if that's specifically made for the area, because I've never heard anyone outside of S. LA use cold drink.

I usually specify exactly what kind I want but I refer to soda as soft drinks
