BAD news for the Blazers. They're at #2 right now. I wonder where they'll be sitting when he returns.

Will they trade for a big? They are very thin on the frontline

Portland could very easily be at the 6 spot after his return. 7 or even 8 isn't unrealistic. Wow.

They were so fortunate with injuries last year, and I think that hurt their depth this year. It's hard to plan for injuries until you really see the effects.

Could be huge for OKC.

FIFY

Grizz only a half game back of them.

Heard some crazy numbers about their schedule. Of their 30 wins 23 have been to teams with sub .500 records and of those 7 remaining wins only 3 were against WC opponents.

They are fricked

I assume the injury is on his shooting hand? It will be interesting how quickly he regains his touch. The guy lives on his midrange game. He can't afford to lose his shot, even for a little while. Dude was so deadly in the playoffs last year. It was awful.

No it's his offhand. Lillard is struggling mightily trying to create space. Forcing a lot of bad shots.

It kinda sucks for the future 1-4 seeds as well. Portland seems like a top 4 team to me and now one of the top 4 will get Portland in round 1. That sucks.

OKC and Portland are going to be bottom 4 seeds. The West is brutal. Every playoff team will have a chance in the first round.

On the bright side 1 of those weeks is All Star week. More like 5-7 weeks. Only good thing is it happened now and not in a month.

Portland needs home court probably more than any other team as well. Huge blow to their chances.

Last game before break is February 12. First games after break are February 19. That would be 7 days between games. 7 days = 1 week.

Nice try.

Lillard is struggling with his shot. His shooting hand has been banged up for about a month and a half.
