Tedeschi Trucks Band tonight at the Alabama Theatre

I'm down in the 'ham visiting some family, and notice that TTB is playing tonight. Went ahead and bought the tickets. Any of y'all in the area should go, it goes without saying that Derek is one of the best guitarists alive.

Went to buy tickets last week, saw they were $75, closed the tab.
I like Tedeschi Trucks Band, but not $75 like them.

I'll probably spend 4 grand going to Chicago to see the Dead, and $75 wouldn't let you sniff BDS against Western Carolina.

They just announced a show in Shreveport in April. I really want to see them but I'll pass if I end up going to Jazz Fest. Tickets are $75, $50 and $40.

It's not the original in Tuscaloosa, which is the only one I've been to. Dreamland blows compared to Archibald's, anyway.

Susan is good but she doesn't let DT shred like he should. I wouldn't mind it as much if he didn't only play with TTB. If she comes out with DT when he sits in with mule I am going to pitch a fit.

I don't think she's trying to overpower the band. She's just a big girl with a big voice. Maybe they need louder amps like mine. It goes to 12! 
I can listen to DT shred the slide all night without any vocal help from anyone.

I now see what CaptainPanic was talking about as far as Susan overpowering the songs sometimes. I mean, she has a nice voice and everything, but I am there to watch one of the best guitarists alive.
