I would have thought Harbaugh coming would have helped Michigan grab at least a few players out there.
Is Michigan going to get a lot of NSD surprises?

Michigan doesn't have many available scholarships this cycle. From my understanding, Michigan will have 74 scholarship players in 2015, leaving just 11 scholarships (assuming there are no transfers) available.

ETA: what they have right now, according to Rivals, are two four-star early enrollees, two four-star commits, a three-star offensive lineman (son of Jon Runyan), and a kicker. Out of the 11 scholarships available, over 35% of the current commits right now are four-star commits. Not a bad number.

Just limited scholarships, that's all.

That being said, I think it'll take a few years, at least, until Harbaugh potentially catches up to Ohio State.

Going to be interesting to see how Harbaugh handles the beat down OSU is going to give him next season. OSU will be loaded. Michigan... not so much. He's known to act like a little bitch from time to time.

He's also been known to beat teams that have a lot more talent than his.

Michigan has the same problem as Florida right now, just too few players committed. UF has 8, Michigan has 6.

True. But this year's matchup against OSU might be one of his toughest challenges.

Harbaugh called CB Nate Dalton while on his visit to Arkansas to come visit Ann Arbor, he agreed originally, but it took just one short visit from Arkansas to change his mind. Doesn't sound like an elite recruiter to me.

You drew that conclusion because of some kid named Nate Dalton?

JH is late to the game. Maybe next year will be different.

As long as Michigan can hold on the current committed and develop the current roster, it will be fine.

Next year is quite different.

Not saying they won't be an underdog, but I don't think it would be that far fetched for Michigan to beat them. Looking at the last four recruiting classes Michigan isn't that far behind. Now I know that OSU has had better coaching during that same time frame, but it isn't like Harbaugh doesn't have much to work with.

Over the past four recruiting classes UM has signed 88 recruits and an average class rating of 16 and average star rating of 3.47.

OSU has signed 96 recruits with an average class rating of 5 and average star rating of 3.68. This is according to rivals.

I bet the discrepancy between Stanford and USC was much greater.

Harbaugh is trying to recruit kids that have had relationships with other teams/coaches for months.

You think this crap class is due to him? Good lord.

Why don't you go to 247 and look at the visitor list. It's good stuff and he'll pull in surprises.

Las Vegas set the line at 8.5 regarding the games Michigan will win next year.

I think they will win at least 9 games.

Not sure about OSU. Urban's team usually get hot late of the season. OSU was even struggling with Indiana this year. Hope JH can catch OSU before OSU wake up.

Well if I remember correctly Michigan put up a pretty big fight this year with an extremely sub-par coach, at least for a large portion of the game. Harbaugh has proven what he can do with lesser talent. I think the game this year will be closer than most think.

Rivals has them at 104. Can't believe UF is ranked at 99. Brutal.

This always happens with new coaches. NSD is going to be awesome, in my view. UM is going to snag big time players. Just look at the visitors list.

Also, Texas QB gentry, who turned down saban, is decommiting from texas to play for harbaugh

Whenever a coaching change occurs in the offseason before NSD, the school's current recruiting class is not where the effect is felt most. It is usually in the following year's class where the change plays the biggest factor.
