Coworker and I are debating on whether or not a black undershirt beneath a white oxford, say with black slacks, is a good look. I told him if he's rocking a New Iberia haircut it's cool, otherwise it's not. I generally think visible undershirts at all are tacky (wear a v-neck if you have to so it doesn't show), but this definitely crosses the line.

Upvote for the black undershirt, downvote otherwise.

Sounds like something you'd see some white trash idiot wearing to his court date.

It is great if you work at Radio Shack. Not so much in a professional setting.

We work in a professional setting. You'd think the guy makes enough money to know better.

Undershirts are for nerds. Show your chest hair if you got it baw. And that sounds closer to the outfit my waiter wore last night than a "cool outfit". Tell your friend he has no style
Edit: and obligatory trashy reference

Visible undershirts are the very definition of class and sophistication. You V-neckers lack in style.

Glad to see the OT confirming my opinion. Coworker is downvoting everyone

People under the age of 50 don't wear undershirts anymore. Even color coordinated ones

uhhh... That sounds like some trend that was pulled from the 90's.

I wear a undershirt with my White oxford's ...But it's always white... and I only wear one b/c my nipples are overly dark...

This dude probably thinks that brown shoes clash with a navy suit... and wears brown bucks with a black suit... etc

I say let him dress like a fool and follow him around, you'll like you're out of GQ

I posted this earlier, I did not know undershirts were taboo until the OT told me. Now, I'm paranoid about it.

I am about to buy some v-necks. I've been wearing white under my button downs for years.

What about chest hair?
