And bark at them like a drill instructor, pushing them to lift weights.

Trashy or naw?

Child abuse?

What gym allows kids to work out with parents? My gym has a "no kids under 15 in workout areas" policy

Statistically speaking, 6 of those children will become driven and successful. 4 will become depressive self-destructive rebels. All ten will have resentment issues. In this day and age, it's probably worth it. The Jackson family serves as an appropriate model. You take the good with the bad.

Where the hell are you hanging out at 11pm on a weeknight to witness this?

I wonder which number you're exaggerating more.

Being that it's 930 I'll assume it's the 10 kids.

So two kids at 930

I find children under 15/16 yo a total annoyance at any gym. They can't do shite, essentially play on the equipment, and are developmentally too young to exercise with weights.

Leave your litter at home.

Oh and get off my lawn

Thought they were not developed enough to lift weights? Is there a certain age to start/wait till?

Depends on the kid, but most 15/16 year old athletes should be lifting.

I've literally never seen this.

Although the gym I go to, there are never more than 5 people in it

No I am good w/ 15+ year olds trying to work out. Good for them trying to get strong. I'm talking about the younger kids who accompany their parent(s) and just play on the weights.

10 year old kid

Posted at 10:30 when I saw them walk in. I've seen them there after 11 before.

Dad pushes the little fat kid to do all types of ridiculous t-bar rows & bullshite.
