I looked at it today noticed that there is a 1-10 number associated with how the fishing should be in a certain area (10 being the best).

So I was checking for Shell Beach/Lake Borgne area today and it rates tomworrow as a 9. But then I checked weather underground and it is saying 20mph winds. They don't seem to add up. I have never fished Shell Beach, but I am guessing it can't be a great day tomorrow with those winds right? I also am new to rodnreels site so maybe there 1-10 scale is just a guess on there part??

I don't think the tide table use weather in their forecast...

I used to.

The number is based purely on the moon phase. Tide is based solely on whatever tides are based on. Neither takes the other or weather into account. Also, oddly, it places a high value on the full moon, and I've never caught shite after a full moon.

They also have two tide servers that give completely different results. I stopped using rodnreel a while back when they changed up the format. Now I use lasportsman, but they only show one month ahead.

Dude good thing your on the OB ....... That. Umber is based solely on the lunar phase for fish/game activity. The weather don't follow shite. ....
