What kept Donte Jackson from getting a 5th star?

He seems electric with elite speed and versatility. So what kept him from getting the extra *? Do the recruit services feel he's a little undersized? Or that he doesn't have a true college position yet? Either way, I'm so excited to have him on board. He's going to be fun to watch.

247 has him as the 10th rated player in the country. They are much much better at evaluation. Unless ESPN has one of our guys as the #1 recruit in the nation. Then ESPN is good.

ESPN has him way underrated, but that shouldn't be a surprise. They suck. As mentioned elsewhere, they had White rated more than 100 spots lower than any other recruiting site.

He's a 5 star on some of the sites. All I can tell you is to quit star gazing. This kid is a big pick up.

On the composite, it's like how Tyron Johnson moves from the #2 spot to #5 spot at WR. How Maea has fallen out of the 5 stars. Also how Guice, after putting on a show during practices and the AA game, goes from the #4 RB to the #5.

Purely ESPN. He could've almost overcome the Rivals ranking if ESPN didnt have him in the 140s. Would've been close though because Maea is pretty high on all and didn't make it.
