LSU baseball has a favorable SEC schedule.

#9 LSU won't have to play #1 Vandy or #2 Florida in the regular season. They play #5 South Carolina but not until the last series of the year.

We seem to luck out a lot in baseball in scheduling. I almost feel like the SEC office they will bend over for BAMA football and LSU baseball as they are the power players in those sports.

Yeah, I wish we could have played one of these teams at home. Those top 5 matchups at Alex Box are always great to experience.

You would think they'd purposely schedule those just to have the game at the Box where people actually show up.

LSU @ Vandy is turning into a decent baseball rivalry. I was up in nashville for the series in 2011. Great atmosphere, 3 sellout games. Combined score was vandy 31-11

We are in the Houston classic that should make up not playing Florida and Vanderbilt. But this is preseason ranks they won't be top 5 all year. Sec lends to plenty of great games.
