This basketball team is very odd, frustrating, but can be very good

At this point in the season the three games LSU was most likely to lose were @West Virginia, @Florida, and @Ole Miss.

LSU won all three of those.

They've lost four games against teams they should have beaten. I mean man this team could be 16-2 or 17-1.

All in all, LSU looked great tonight.

It's mind numbing really. I expect them to go 9-9 and then win the SEC tournament and make the elite 8. Lol

It's so weird. They have a chance to go on a 5 game run before the Kentucky game.

@Vandy, SCar, @MissSt, Auburn, Alabama.

5 winnable games but who knows with this team. That would make them 19-4 (8-2) when Kentucky gets here. That would be a top 25 match up.

One can dream.

With this solid victory, LSU is playing like a "classic" young team. Some games they blow, and then some games they put it all together like tonight.

What's great is that we still got a long way to go before tournament time.

They just need to play within themselves, not get rattled, and good things will happen.

Those late collapses...trust me, this team feels the pain of those loses. That's good. They are learning.

Yes they are, maybe they can break the pattern at Vandy and actually win. It would be big for the Dance chances. Especially with 3 out of next 4 at home and at MSU. Who knows, but they looked great tonight minus Gray.

They play looser vs good teams. I think they have a great shot vs UK.

My .02 is they are learning what an SEC effort is to win a game.

Frankly this is how UK was last year losing to Arky twice us and SCAR but went to the finals.

We have the talent to have a shot against anyone in college bball. However i think our team plays down to competition and then gets mentally soft......against lessor teams especially. Playing scared to lose.

This team would destroy as a 6 or 7 seed. Just gotta avoid the 8/9.
