probably a long shot here but can the good folks of the FDB recommend some good eats in Playa Del Carmen?
staying at a private condo so won't have the luxury of eating any meals on-site unless we buy groceries which will probably will just for breakfast.

El Muelle Restaurant
We ate here one evening, food was fresh seafood, grilled for a resonable price. $60 for app, 2 meals, drinks and tip.
Los Aguachiles
This was a little from the main area, still safe to walk. Ceviche, tostasas, tacos, etc. Mostly seafood. Plastic chairs and tables, but the place was packed.
We found the town was slow to get started in the morning. There is a ton of places to eat, 5th Ave had more higher end stuff, but quality was good to ok, some places were just tourist traps. 10 Ave has a lot of food also, area around Coco Bongo. Most places didn't open for lunch till noon or later. Lots of Italian residents, so there is lots of Italian and pizza. Let me know if you have more questions.
