I've had a nice ceramic crock pot for a year now and I can't seem to get rid of the metallic musty after taste. It doesn't ruin the meal but I can definitely taste it

Anyone ever heard of this? Looking for another crock pot recommendation. Also I've used the bags and it's still there

My crock pot kinda has that smell even after cleaning but I have never noticed it in my food.

I experience the same thing but only with certain foods. Red beans is the worst. So sad....few foods beat the taste and comfort of a warm bowl of red beans and rice.
Fwiw I have the all-clad crock. Thought this was a defect exclusive to the brand.
