If bostick catches the onside there is no 2 point conversion

And if Dix is actually paying attention then the Bostick frick up doesnt get nearly as much press.

There was more than one play that lost the game for Green Bay.

Q: What did you think your mentality was as a team coming in here, though?

AARON RODGERS: Very confident. Very confident we would win the game and start off and had some good drives, put some things together. Defense played great. Picked them off four times. Forced another turnover on special teams.

But you just can’t have you can’t let them complete a pass for a touchdown on a fake field goal. You can’t give up an onside kick and you can’t not get any first downs in the fourth quarter and expect to win. And that’s on top of (indiscernible) in the red zone in the first half. But putting that all together that’s how you lose games. And opportunity, this is a great opportunity. We’re right on the cusp.

So it's Bostick's fault for not bailing out his coach's shitty decisions throughout the game?

Anyone who thinks this game was lost by one play/player is retarded.

I blame the 5 star 1st round pick DB who looked like Stevie Wonder on the 2 point conversion.

I blame HaHa Clinton Dix's dumbass moreso than Bostick.

Then you are an idiot. Clinton-Dix had two INTs(one was amazing), and they wouldn't have even been in the position to choke the game away if not for him.

Too much heat. McCarthy blew the game. Period. He declined or allowed a late hit to be declined that would have put Seattle at 2nd and 46. They scored 7 on that drive.

What I didn't understand about this is how that late hit wasnt a dead ball foul, making it an automatic 3rd and 46?

2nd and 46 and you don't understand it because it was incorrect. Somebody messed up REALLY REALLY bad. I'm thinking it was the refs but its not a judgement call. Its something that if McCarthy had got in their ear and demanded an explanation would have no doubt been sorted out. I'm sure he was too busy slapping high fives on the sideline like the other millions of Packers fans when he was the only person in the world who could actually have an impact.

I have no patience for coaches rooting for their teams. Absolutely pathetic. McCarthy should have been charged a ticket at face value for being a spectator.

I don't understand the people that defend Bostick but will bash Buckner

Buckners blunder didn't even happen in the series deciding game.

How is there not already a slow motion gif of Jordy Nelson realizing what happened during the play as he's coming down and slowly turning to Bostick with the biggest "WHAT DID YOU JUST DO" look on his face? that was priceless

yes

is it just me or is this guy taking entirely too much heat for this game?

It's not just you. McCarthy gets the blame.

Maybe some on the guy who intercepted Wilson's pass then took a slide instead of advancing the ball and improving the Packers' field position. Troy Aiken called that "wise."

Yeah, right. McCarthy and Aiken need to resign.

Several factors resulted in the game loss - the degree to which is always going to be a subjective opinion:

McCarthy being a sneaky-bad football coach
Settling for 1st half FGs instead of TDs
Onside kick gaffe
Sliding down unopposed with 5 mins left in the game after an INT
Letting Wilson complete multiple jump ball passes
Letting Lynch bitch them in the 4th quarter
GB not trying to score the GW TD, settling for a FG
GB being cowards and not finishing the game

I actually blame Peppers for telling Burnett to slide down on the INT which looked like Burnett could have took it all the way. I blame Burnett just as much for listening. I blame them 2 way more than any other person not named McCarthy.
